The most common worry when commissioning a site is: I'll pay and then spend a month
not knowing what's happening. So each of the four steps ends with something you can look at and judge.
Step 01
We agree on the goal
I ask who is meant to buy from you, what should happen on the site and how much time we have.
If I decide I'm not the right person for the job, I say so straight away, not a month in.
You get the scope and the price in writing, before work starts
Step 02
I show directions
I design 2–3 visual directions and show them before a single line of code exists.
You pick one and we drop the rest, at the point where changing your mind still costs nothing.
You get designs to choose from, before anything is built
Step 03
I build and ship it
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React or Angular, integrations (Shopify, PHP, forms)
and testing across several browsers. You follow the progress on a link as it happens, no big reveal at the end.
You get a working site on your own server and domain
Step 04
I measure and stay
I connect Google Analytics and after a few weeks we check where people drop off.
At Moventa I stayed on after launch to run the site, so I know what that part looks like.
You get access to the analytics and a list of changes for the next round
