Privacy policy

This site is my personal portfolio. Below I explain what data I collect, why I collect it and what rights you have.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Wiktor Godlewski, Białystok, Poland. For anything privacy-related, write to kontakt@wiktorgodlewski.pl.
2. Contact form
When you send a message through the form in the “Contact” section, you give me your name, email address and the content of the message. I use them only to reply — the data lands in my mailbox and is not passed on to anyone else. The legal basis is your consent, given by sending the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), and my legitimate interest in answering you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). I keep messages no longer than needed to finish the conversation, unless the law requires otherwise.
3. Cookies and Google Analytics 4
This site may use Google Analytics 4 — an analytics tool from Google LLC — to show me general visit statistics (how many visits, which sections get read). The tool is entirely optional and only starts after you agree to it.
- Without your consent no analytics script loads and no Google Analytics cookies are stored.
- You can withdraw or change your consent at any time with the button below.
- If you do consent, data about your visit (anonymised IP address, approximate location, device and browser type) may be transferred to Google LLC, including outside the European Economic Area, under the standard contractual clauses Google applies.

4. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access your data and get a copy of it,
- have your data corrected,
- have your data erased (“the right to be forgotten”),
- restrict processing,
- object to processing,
- data portability,
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal,
- lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO).

5. Changes to this policy
If I change how the site works (for example by adding new analytics tools), I'll update this policy and the date at the top of the page.
